Thermotec NuWave™ Base is a mass loaded vinyl noise barrier or commonly referred to as a barium loaded limp polymer. Most commonly used to silence noise in walls, timber floors and ceiling spaces, particularly suitable for office partitions in commercial buildings and all acoustically sensitive rooms. NuWave™ Acoustic Base is inexpensive and very easy to cut and install. The product is fabric backed with an embossed face making it tear resistant and highly flexible. NuWave™ ‘Base’ Acoustic Barrier is supplied in rolls. – Manufacturer
